Call Amber directly to book a session at 1-306-741-7803. I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and understood. My approach to therapy is rooted in warmth, authenticity, and genuine human connection. I value clear, compassionate communication and strive to create a space where you feel comfortable exploring even the most difficult experiences without fear of judgment.

My work is grounded in a trauma-informed approach. Trauma can impact how we see ourselves, others, the world around us and can influence thought patterns, emotional regulation, and the body’s response. I don’t believe therapy should feel clinical or distant—I aim to build a trusting relationship where you feel supported, respected, and empowered. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, feeling overwhelmed, or simply trying to better understand yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you at your pace.

Together, we can make sense of what’s weighing on you and create meaningful steps toward growth, balance, and healing. You don’t have to have the “right words” or everything figured out. Showing up as you are enough.

Call Shauna directly at 1-306-533-6503

Shauna Morrison is a registered clinical counsellor with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association, an Associate Addiction Counsellor with the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation, and group facilitator who believes that every person has the capacity for healing, growth, and meaningful change.

Drawing on a strong academic foundation in psychology and addiction counselling, along with advanced training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), somatic approaches, and evidence-based counselling practices, Shauna provides compassionate, evidence-informed care that honours the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and lived experience.

Her work is grounded in the understanding that healing involves both the mind and the body. By integrating nervous system regulation, somatic-based interventions, mindfulness-based practices, and integrative counselling approaches, Shauna helps clients develop greater emotional awareness, resilience, self-compassion, and the practical skills needed to create lasting change.

Shauna’s approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and client-centred. She believes that therapy should be both compassionate and practical, helping clients better understand themselves while developing the skills to navigate life’s challenges with greater resilience, self-compassion, and intention. Her goal is to help clients move beyond symptom relief toward building a life that feels meaningful, connected, and worth living—a life that reflects their values, strengths, and hopes for the future.

Shauna has a particular interest in supporting individuals experiencing substance use disorders and concurrent mental health concerns. She understands that addiction is often intertwined with trauma, psychological distress, and nervous system dysregulation, and approaches recovery with compassion, curiosity, and evidence- informed care. She also works with individuals experiencing trauma, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Recognizing that many thoughts, emotions, and behaviours develop as adaptive responses to difficult experiences, she works collaboratively with clients to understand these patterns while fostering healing, recovery, and sustainable well-being.

In addition to individual counselling, Shauna facilitates psychoeducational and skills-based therapy groups that empower participants to strengthen emotional well-being, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
